COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 2025
An apartment in the Talisman residential complex — "Three Chocolate Cake" — is located in the east of the capital, in the Bogorodskoye district, overlooking the Losiny Ostrov National Park. The interior is finished in a chocolate-and-cream palette with emerald accents, which inspired the name "Three Chocolate Cake" — coined by our clients when they first saw the visualizations.

Initial conditions from the developer:
— "A long corridor, a separate bathroom with a bathtub where the space was very small. A small master bedroom with an adjoining master bathroom, one additional room, and an L-shaped nook for the kitchen and living-dining area."

Before / After
Upon entering, a full-length mirror is recessed flush with the wall. Originally, a veneer wall was planned as a flowing texture continuation of the kitchen, but during construction the wall was painted in a solid color instead. The opposite wall features a wardrobe with a false panel — for visual cohesion of the space — where even the edge trim of the false panel on the kitchen side matches the kitchen's finish.
The bathroom with bathtub was combined into one space. The bathtub sits in a niche, which allowed us to conceal the shelves from view and reduce visual noise. Materials with different shades and textures were also used here. The back panel of the furniture behind the toilet is finished in Egger, color-matched to complement the veneered wallpaper on the door. A double sink with two faucets, crafted from acrylic stone with a beveled edge and concealed drain.
The living room sofa without one backrest supports the idea of an open sightline upon entering the apartment. The half-open dark cabinet with a display case also balanced the space — not reducing it, but rather expanding it visually. The cabinet fronts are painted to match the color of the partition’s edge, effectively continuing the wall without breaking it into separate parts. Yet through the use of glass and lighting, we eliminated the oppressive effect of the dark color. This same color was also echoed in the lower kitchen cabinet fronts and the floor-standing console in the TV area.

Materials & Furniture
The apartment is equipped with an air conditioning and humidification system, so we made a point of incorporating ceiling drop zones inside wardrobes or pass-through areas, as the original ceiling height was critically low — just 2.6 m.
